Well after a week off to celebrate our salubrious Bass players birthday, this week The 'Chix headed down the highway to the big smoke and back to the old hood, to play the fabulous Morrison Hotel in South Brisbane.
Man it was a humid & steamy set up but luckily the Naked Whisky bar has great air-con to cool us down before we launched into the first of our 3 sets.
We love playing in the old neighborhood, there's always plenty of friendly faces and also lots of new friends to meet.
We also love any opportunity to take our amazing Blackbird sound system out for a spin and as always she did not disappoint!
Thanks to everyone who came along and enjoyed the evening with us. We're looking forward to seeing you all next time.
