It was wonderful to see a big turn out for this inaugural festival and Jam. Every year The love in the room is overwhelming. Not just from the audience who come to see the amazing line up of musicians and remember Wiley, but the camaraderie between the musicians who all cut their teeth with this legendary blues man is so beautiful.
Vix had the pleasure of sitting in on a set with Wiley s original band "The Bruce Brothers", and enjoyed a long overdue play with one of her guitar hero's Mr Colin Wilson.
Then the Chix hit the stage around 8:30 with to play a 45 min set, which included many songs they learned from Wiley Reed, plus a few original tunes and some personal stories from their history with the great man. It was so good to catch up with so many old friends and share the love!!
